Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) is the
Department of Aerospace Studies at UNCC
UNCC is the host school for Det 592
To Join AFROTC here at Detachment
592, you simply just need to sign up for the Aerospace Studies Class:

completed your freshman year of college before joining AFROTC you may
have to combine the
first two years of your Aerospace Studies class.

Requirements to join and stay in AFROTC:

Participate in both Aerospace Studies classes and Leadership Lab |
|
Pass Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) - click here for more info |
|
Pass Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) - click here for more info |
|
Be a United States Citizen (By Contract Date) |
|
Meet moral, medical, and fitness eligibility standards |
|
Attend two weekly physical training (PT) sessions during the Fall and Spring semesters |
|
Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0 |
|
80% attendance is required for all academic and PT classes |
Once you meet the requirements to join the AFROTC program, some of the documents that you will need to bring with you are listed below:
